Outdoor Education Funds

 ALPINEES/HOOD RIVER CIVIL AIR PATROL OUTDOOR EDUCATION FUND and

THE JACK BALDWIN MEMORIAL OUTDOOR EDUCATION FUND

These two important endowment funds promote outdoor education for the benefit of the residents of the Columbia River Gorge.  You can learn about the origin of these funds by downloading the  Alpinees Fund History (PDF).

Thank you for all the great submissions this year.  Grant recommendations will be approved on June 3 and will be announced within a few days of that date.   Alpinee Grant Guidelines.

 

 

The following grants for $3,600 from the the Alpinees/Hood River Civil Air Patrol Outdoor Education Fund were approved on November 22, 2010: 

Columbia Gorge Ecology Institute –  field conservation research $1,200.00
Rowena Wildlife Clinic - Raptor Education program $1,200.00
St. Francis House of Odell – outdoor excursions to Oregon scenic spots $1,200.00
