The Alpinees Advisory Committee is a permanent committee of the Gorge Community Foundation which makes recommendations on grants to the Foundation.  Committee members meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:

- Personal involvement in outdoor recreation activities

- Past leadership experience with organized outdoor education or activity

- Residence in the Columbia River Gorge area

ALPINEES/HOOD RIVER CIVIL AIR PATROL OUTDOOR EDUCATION FUND
and THE JACK BALDWIN MEMORIAL OUTDOOR EDUCATION FUND

These two important endowment funds promote outdoor education for the benefit of the residents of the Columbia River Gorge.  You can learn about the origin of these funds here.

There are currently no permanently established dates or dollar amounts for grant cycles.  We will keep this site posted with the most up-to-date information.

The first grant cycle for the Alpinees/Hood River Civil Air Patrol Outdoor Education Fund ended February 15, 2010. Grants were approved by the Foundation on February 22, 2010.
